Who FTMO Futures Pro is for
- Traders who already trade with a hard daily stop and want the bigger drawdown
- 100% withdrawals per cycle and the highest caps in the FTMO range ($5,000 / $6,000 / $8,000)
- A 50% consistency rule in the evaluation that only delays the pass — no minimum days, no time limit
How the evaluation works
Pro is a single evaluation on a monthly subscription with no time limit and no minimum number of trading days — cancel any time, and the billing stops automatically when you pass. Three sizes: profit targets of $3,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K), $9,000 (150K); End-of-Day trailing max drawdown of $3,000 (50K), $4,500 (100K), $6,000 (150K); a hard daily loss limit of $1,000 (50K), $1,500 (100K), $2,000 (150K); contract limits of 5 / 10 / 15 minis (micros 1:10).
The max drawdown is End-of-Day trailing: each day's limit is your highest previous closing balance (or the starting capital, if higher) minus the drawdown amount; it only ever rises, and once it reaches the starting capital it locks there for the life of the account. The 50% consistency rule says your best day may not be more than 50% of your total profit — exceeding it is not a breach, you keep trading until the ratio holds, which makes the fastest pass 2 trading days.
A hard breach (max drawdown or the daily loss limit) fails the account. You can reset it for $129 (50K), $189 (100K), $259 (150K) without changing your billing date, or keep the subscription and receive a fresh account at the next renewal. FTMO has no discount code and gives no discount through affiliates: FTMO Futures is sold at its list price. Signing up through our link attributes the sale to FundedEnigma at no cost to you; US residents use FTMO's separate US link, shown on the firm page.
- Profit target: $3,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K), $9,000 (150K)
- Max drawdown (End-of-Day trailing, locks at the starting capital): $3,000 (50K), $4,500 (100K), $6,000 (150K)
- Daily loss limit: $1,000 (50K), $1,500 (100K), $2,000 (150K) (hard)
- Consistency: best day ≤ 50% of total profit (delays the pass, never fails it) · fastest pass 2 days
- Billing: $139/month (50K), $199/month (100K), $269/month (150K) · reset $129 (50K), $189 (100K), $259 (150K) · no activation fee · billing ends when you pass
Trading rules at every stage
These rules apply to the evaluation and the Sim-Funded account alike, and the first one is the one traders miss.
- No overnight holding: every position closed and every resting order cancelled before 4:10 PM ET (or the relevant market close); the platform flattens and cancels what is left, but you may not rely on it. The trading day runs 6:00 PM ET to 4:10 PM ET
- News trading allowed at every stage, with no restrictions, as long as it is not a forbidden practice
- No copying trades or signals from anyone else (copiers, signal groups, master accounts); copying between your own accounts is allowed as long as each account respects its own rules; no cross-account hedging
- Automated trading allowed; no high-frequency strategies, latency arbitrage or exploiting the simulated environment
- No new positions within 2% of a CME daily price limit (e.g. once an index future is more than 5% from the prior settlement when the first limit is 7%)
- Contract limits of 5 / 10 / 15 minis by size in the evaluation; micros count 1:10; the Sim-Funded account starts lower and scales with profit
- A Sim-Funded account with no trade for 30 consecutive calendar days is closed (no inactivity rule on the Live Funded Account)
- Commissions of $0.50 per side per mini and $0.20 per micro plus exchange and NFA fees; CME Level 1 data is included, Level 2 is not available
- Unlimited evaluations; up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at the same time across Growth and Pro; natural persons only; FTMO Futures is not offered to residents of Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana or South Carolina, or of several other countries listed in the FTMO FAQ
The Sim-Funded account
Passing is assessed after the close; you then complete FTMO Identity (KYC), sign the Sim-Funded terms and receive a Sim-Funded account of the same size. The max drawdown is the same as the evaluation, still End-of-Day trailing and locking at the starting capital; there is no profit target and no consistency rule; you get the same hard daily loss limit of $1,000 (50K), $1,500 (100K), $2,000 (150K) — a breach ends the account. Contracts start at 2 / 4 / 6 minis and scale to 5 / 10 / 15 as end-of-day profit grows (2 minis to $999 profit · 3 from $1,000 · 5 from $2,000 on the 50K). Up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at once; a Sim-Funded account cannot be reset.
- Drawdown: same as the evaluation, End-of-Day trailing, locks at the starting capital
- Daily loss limit: hard $1,000 (50K), $1,500 (100K), $2,000 (150K)
- Profit target: none · consistency rule: none
- Contracts: 2 → 5 minis (50K) · 4 → 10 minis (100K) · 6 → 15 minis (150K) — scaling by end-of-day profit
- Payout ratio: 90/10 · up to 3 Sim-Funded accounts at once
Payouts
Payout eligibility works in qualifying days. On Growth you can request a payout every 4 qualifying days; on Pro every 5. A day qualifies when you close it up by at least $150 (50K), $250 (100K), $300 (150K) on Growth or $200 (50K), $300 (100K), $500 (150K) on Pro. Growth lets you withdraw up to 50% of the profit above your starting balance (the rest stays in the account and can be included next time); Pro lets you withdraw 100%. At least half of any request must be new profit from the current cycle.
Each request is capped: $2,500 (50K), $3,000 (100K), $4,000 (150K) on Growth and $5,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K), $8,000 (150K) on Pro. You keep 90% of what you request, the minimum payout is $20, and payouts are made in USD by Wise, Revolut bank wire, Visa Direct or Mastercard Send (Mastercard Send is not available to US clients). US clients file a W-9 before the first payout and must use a fully licensed US bank. Confirming a request closes any open positions; the amount is deducted at once and you can keep trading while FTMO approves it. On Pro, a 100% withdrawal takes the balance back to the starting capital — right on top of a drawdown limit that has locked there, so leave yourself room.
Going live: the Live Funded Account
The Live Funded Account is not applied for. By invitation from FTMO's trading department after a track record of approved Sim-Funded payouts — it is not applied for. Once there, only the max drawdown applies: you clear a one-time buffer before the first payout, then you can request a payout every day for everything above the buffer, with no payout cap, still at 90/10. A market-data fee applies for live data (FTMO covers one exchange). Traders in some countries can use the Sim-Funded account and its payouts but not the Live Funded Account; the list is in the FTMO Futures FAQ.

FTMO Futures Pro — frequently asked questions
- Is there a consistency rule on FTMO Futures Pro?
- Only in the evaluation: your best day may not exceed 50% of total profit, and exceeding it never fails the account — you keep trading until the ratio holds. There is no consistency rule on the Sim-Funded account.
- Is there an FTMO Futures discount code?
- No. FTMO does not discount FTMO Futures through affiliates or codes; it is sold at the list price. Sign up through our link (US residents: the FTMO US link on the firm page) and the sale is attributed to FundedEnigma at no cost to you.
- Is there a time limit or a minimum number of days?
- No time limit and no minimum trading days — the evaluation runs month to month while the subscription is active. Because of the consistency rule the fastest possible pass is 2 trading days.
- Can I hold positions overnight?
- No. Every position must be closed and every resting order cancelled before 4:10 PM ET each trading day; the platform flattens what is left.
- How much can I withdraw per payout?
- Every 5 qualifying days ($200 (50K), $300 (100K), $500 (150K) closed profit per day) you can request up to 100% of the profit above your starting balance, capped at $5,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K), $8,000 (150K) per request; you keep 90%, minimum $20.
- Growth or Pro?
- Growth is cheaper ($119 / $169 / $229 a month), has no daily loss limit in the evaluation and a soft one once funded, but a 40% consistency rule, 50% withdrawals and lower caps. Pro ($139 / $199 / $269) gives more drawdown room, 100% withdrawals and $5,000–$8,000 caps in exchange for a hard daily loss limit and a 50% consistency rule.
