LucidDirect Review (2026): Lucid Trading's Straight-to-Funded Account — Rules, Price With Code FE & Why It Rates 5.9/10

LucidDirect skips the evaluation: you buy a sim-funded futures account outright, with End-of-Day drawdown, full size from day one and a 20% consistency rule per payout cycle. What it costs with code FE, how payouts work, and why it is the lowest-rated Lucid plan.

LucidDirect is Lucid Trading's straight-to-funded account: no evaluation, no profit target to pass, no activation fee. You buy the sim-funded account outright and start working towards your first payout on day one, with End-of-Day drawdown that locks, full contract size immediately and a 90/10 split. It is priced as a funded account, so it is the most expensive way into Lucid — and that shows in the rating.

Here is exactly what you are buying, how the 20% consistency rule and the five-day minimum shape payouts, and why we score it 5.9/10 (Fair). The video walks through the same rules against Tradeify Lightning Funded; the LucidDirect plan page has the live one-time price for each size with code FE.

    What you are buying

Four sizes (25K, 50K, 100K, 150K), each a simulated funded account from the moment of purchase: one-time fee, no activation fee, no monthly billing and no resets — a breached account is gone and you buy a new one. The maximum loss limit is 4% of the starting balance on the 25K and 50K, 3.5% on the 100K and 3.3% on the 150K, End-of-Day: it rises with your closing balance until you close above the initial trail balance (start + max loss + $100), then locks $100 above the starting balance for good.

Position size is the full allowance from day one — 2 minis / 20 micros on the 25K up to 10 minis / 100 micros on the 150K — with no scaling plan, and up to five Direct accounts per household (shared with other Lucid funded accounts).

The daily loss limit and LucidScale

The 25K has no daily loss limit. The 50K, 100K and 150K start with a fixed daily loss limit (2.4% of the balance on the 50K, 2.1% on the 100K, 2% on the 150K); once the account closes above the initial trail balance it is replaced by LucidScale — 60% of your highest End-of-Day profit, growing only. Hitting it is a soft breach: locked out until the next session, not failed. There is no news restriction on Direct.

Payouts: three conditions, five payouts, then live

Every payout needs three things, all resetting after each payout: a profit goal for the cycle ($1,500 / $3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 by size for the first payout, then $1,250 / $2,500 / $3,500 / $4,500 from the second), the 20% consistency rule (largest day at most 20% of the cycle profit), and at least five trading days in the cycle. Minimum request $500.

Per-payout caps are $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 by size on payouts one to three and $1,000 / $2,500 / $3,000 / $3,500 on four and five. Five payouts per account, then Lucid moves you to a live account ($0 start, End-of-Day drawdown, daily payouts, no daily loss limit or consistency rule, plus a one-time live bonus the first time you are moved live).

    Why LucidDirect rates 5.9/10

The Enigma Score measures what a dollar buys. On Direct you pay funded-account prices up front (the 50K is about $360 with code FE at the time of writing, against about $90–$115 for a LucidFlex or LucidPro evaluation), so every dollar of loss buffer and of first payout costs three to four times more — and the 20% consistency rule plus the five-day minimum slow the first payout. Value 47, Risk Cushion 44, Payout Reach 73, Pass Ease 76 on the 50K: 5.9/10, Fair. Tradeify Lightning Funded 50K, the closest instant-funding rival we track, scores 6.5 at a lower price; the video shows the two cards side by side.

    Who should buy it

Traders with a proven edge who do not want to prove it again, want full size from day one, and can hold a 20% consistency rule for at least five trading days per cycle. If price matters more than speed, a LucidFlex evaluation reaches a funded account for a fraction of the cost. Direct is discounted 30% with code FE at the time of writing at lucidtrading.com; other instant-funding options are on the best instant funding prop firms list.

    FAQ

Is there really no evaluation on LucidDirect?

Correct. You buy the sim-funded account outright and can request your first payout once the cycle conditions are met — no profit target to pass first and no activation fee.

What are the LucidDirect payout profit goals?

    First payout: $1,500 (25K), $3,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K), $9,000 (150K). From the second payout: $1,250, $2,500, $3,500 and $4,500. The goal resets after each approved payout.

How much can I withdraw per payout?

    Payouts 1–3: $1,000 (25K), $2,000 (50K), $2,500 (100K), $3,000 (150K). Payouts 4–5: $1,000, $2,500, $3,000, $3,500. Minimum $500; five payouts per account, then a live account.

Does the 20% consistency rule ever go away?

It applies to every sim-funded payout cycle and resets after each payout. It no longer applies once you are promoted to a live account.

Can I reset a breached LucidDirect account?

No — there are no resets on Direct. A breached account is closed and you would purchase a new one.

What is the LucidDirect discount code?

Code FE at checkout on lucidtrading.com — 30% off the list price at the time of writing; the plan page shows the live one-time price per size.
