FundedNext Flex explained: the lowest profit targets in the FundedNext range, End-of-Day drawdown that locks, no daily loss limit, the 40%-of-target consistency rule, 95% reward share, rewards every five benchmark days, what it costs with code FE, and how it compares with Lucid Flex.

FundedNext Flex is the cheapest way into FundedNext Futures and it is not a cut-down account: the lowest profit targets in the range, an End-of-Day trailing max loss limit that locks $100 above your start, no daily loss limit, a one-time fee with no activation fee, and once you are funded no consistency rule and no buffer — five benchmark days between rewards and a 95% reward share.

This review covers every rule, the consistency rule that shapes the pass, how performance rewards work, the Road to Live, and how we score it. The Flex plan page has the live price for every size with code FE.

The challenge: lowest targets, one rule to respect

    Three sizes. Profit targets of $2,500 (50K), $5,000 (100K), $8,000 (150K) against max loss limits of $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,000, with contract limits of 3 / 5 / 8 minis (or 30 / 50 / 80 micros). One phase, no time limit, no minimum days.

The max loss limit is End-of-Day trailing: it moves once a day off your best closing balance, never down, and stops trailing at your starting balance plus $100 ($50,100 / $100,100 / $150,100). The one rule that shapes the pass is the consistency rule: your best single day may not exceed 40% of the profit target — $1,000 on the 50K. Go over it and the target is recalculated to your best day ÷ 0.4 (a $1,500 day on the 50K means you now need $3,750). There is no daily loss limit, so the only breach that ends the account is the max loss limit.

    Trading rules at every stage

Four rules apply on every FundedNext Futures account, at every stage, and the first one is the one traders miss: no overnight or weekend holding — every position must be flat by 3:10 PM CT or it is auto-closed (trading reopens at 5:00 PM CT). News trading is allowed. Thirty consecutive calendar days without a trade breaches the account. Contract limits are fixed per size (they do not grow with profit) and e-mini and micro contracts can be mixed at 1:10. You can hold up to five funded accounts and $750,000 of challenges at a time, and a challenge can be reset at any time, even without a breach.

    Flex resets cost $77.99 (50K), $147.99 (100K) and $278.99 (150K).

Funded: no consistency, no buffer, 95%

Passing converts the account to a FundedNext account with no activation fee. The max loss limit is the same amount as the challenge, still End-of-Day trailing, and it locks at $50,100 / $100,100 / $150,100 — or on your first reward, whichever comes first. No daily loss limit, no consistency rule, no buffer, the same contract limits as the challenge, and a 95% reward share — the highest at FundedNext.

    Performance rewards: five benchmark days

A benchmark day is a day on which you make at least $200 (50K and 100K) or $250 (150K). A reward needs five benchmark days in the cycle and at least $500 of profit since the last reward. You can withdraw up to 50% of your profit, capped at $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,000 by size. After five rewards the Flex funded account is concluded — and every one of those rewards counts toward the live pool.

Every performance reward (FundedNext's word for a payout) is processed within 24 hours of the request, or FundedNext adds $1,000 to it — the brand promise (bank transfers excluded). Minimum request $250, a processing fee of up to 3.5%, KYC before the first reward, paid by RiseWorks, USDT/USDC or bank transfer.

    Road to Live

Flex and Rapid use the Road to Live: every performance reward on every account counts, and 15 rewards across your journey (5 if you have been live before) put you in the live review pool. It is not automatic — the risk team reviews your full history and transitions happen at the end of a payout cycle. Funded accounts with at least one reward move to a live account (up to five); accounts with no payouts are closed and refunded. Live accounts start with a real balance ($2,000 on the 50K, $3,000 on the 100K, $4,500 on the 150K), the loss limit trails from $0 and locks on your first payout or once profit equals the starting balance, contract limits double once it locks, withdrawals are daily from $100, you keep 100% of the first $5,000 withdrawn and 90% after that, and professional exchange data fees apply.

Rating: 8.2/10 and the closest rival

The Enigma Score gives the Flex 50K 8.2/10 (Excellent): Value 92 and Risk Cushion 89 (the lowest price and lowest targets in the range buy a lot of loss buffer per dollar), Payout Reach 68 (five benchmark days and caps at half your profit slow the first withdrawal), Pass Ease 79 (the consistency rule in the challenge). Its closest rival is Lucid Flex — the other "cheapest plan in its range" — which scores 8.4 at about $90 against $69.99 here. Both keep End-of-Day drawdown at both stages, both drop consistency and the buffer once funded, both pay every five days; FundedNext pays 95% to Lucid's 90%, Lucid's caps are a little higher, and Lucid allows a daily loss limit as an option. Compare both on the best futures prop firms list.
