BluSky Launch is the cheapest way into an evaluation at BluSky Trading: a monthly subscription while you trade the evaluation — $49 a month on the 50K with our code FE — and a one-off launch fee that only falls due once you pass. There is no daily loss limit at any stage, the 50K and 100K use an End-of-Day trailing drawdown, and once you are Sim Funded, payouts are daily at 90%.

This review covers every rule, what it costs with our code, the three phases, how payouts and Live Brokerage work, and how we score it. The Launch plan page has the live price for every size. Our BluSky code FE works on every plan: $10 off every Launch month, 30% off Propel and Orbit, 20% off Direct to Funded and $300 off Instant Sim Funded. Use our code FE at checkout through our link.

    Phase 1 — the evaluation

Three sizes. Profit targets of $3,000 (50K), $6,000 (100K) and $6,000 (200K) against max losses of $2,000 / $2,500 / $2,000. The 50K and 100K drawdown is End-of-Day trailing (it moves once a day off your best closing balance and never down); the 200K is static. Contracts: 5 minis / 50 micros, 10 / 100, and 2 / 20. No daily loss limit.

The consistency rule is 50%: your biggest day cannot exceed half of your profitable days, so the target takes at least two profitable days. BluSky's consistency rule compares your largest profitable day with the sum of your profitable days — losing days are left out, which makes it easier to satisfy than the net-profit version many firms use. Being out of consistency never fails the account: it is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and every further profitable day brings the percentage down.

    Trading rules at every stage

These rules apply on every BluSky account. No overnight holding — be flat before 4:45 PM ET; the system auto-liquidates about 15 minutes before the close, but closing is your job, and no positions may be held after 5 PM ET. News trading is allowed and never fails an account. Position size is capped automatically, so oversizing does not fail you (exploiting it can). No opposite positions on the same product at the same time (CME Rule 534) — the brokerage closes the account. Unlimited evaluations, up to three funded accounts (Sim Funded, Instant Sim Funded or Direct to Funded), trade copiers allowed. Evaluation commissions on Rithmic and Volumetrica are $2 a side per mini and $0.50 per micro; Tradovate and NinjaTrader run at Tradovate's rates, with Level 1 data included.

    Price with our code FE

Launch bills every 30 days while you are in the evaluation: normally $59 / $69 / $79 a month, $49 / $59 / $69 with our code FE — and the discount renews with the subscription. The launch fee of $99 / $149 / $179 falls due only when you pass; you have 14 days to pay it from the Billing section, or the passed evaluation is lost. Billing stops the moment you pass, and nothing is charged in the Buffer Zone or once you are Sim Funded.

Resets are $49 / $59 / $69, and a renewal on an account that has already failed includes a free reset within an hour. A reset never moves the renewal date.

Our BluSky code FE works on every plan: $10 off every Launch month, 30% off Propel and Orbit, 20% off Direct to Funded and $300 off Instant Sim Funded. Use our code FE at checkout through our link.

Phase 2 — the Buffer Zone, Phase 3 — Sim Funded

The Buffer Zone is where you build the balance that carries into Sim Funded: targets of $3,000 (50K), $3,500 (100K), $3,000 (200K) with the same drawdown, no daily loss limit and 34% consistency. Fail it and you reset only the Buffer Zone ($250 for each of the first three resets, then $300, $350 …) — your evaluation still stands.

Sim Funded is still simulated, but the profits are real and withdrawable. The starting balance is the Buffer Zone profit — $3,000 / $3,500 / $3,000 — and the account closes below $1,000. No profit target, no consistency rule, nothing to pay. The 7-day payout caps are $2,500 (50K), $3,000 (100K), $2,500 (200K).

    Payouts: daily at 90%

Sim Funded payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, on any balance above your Sim Funded starting balance, with no minimum number of days. The minimum request is $250, you need a meaningful profitable trade between requests, and payouts must be whole dollars. Requests before 11 AM ET are processed the same day (after that, the next business day) and take 1–3 business days to arrive; no support ticket is needed. The split is 90/10, paid through Gusto or Rise as a contractor (1099 NEC in the US, W-8BEN outside). While Sim Funded, stop trading for the day at +$5,000 and for the week at +$10,000.

    Road to Live Brokerage

Live Brokerage is earned in Sim Funded: at $10,000 of total profit (profit in the account plus every payout taken) you stop trading and open a Brokerage Review ticket. The Risk Team takes up to five trading days (broader reviews up to seven), payouts are held, and trading during a review forfeits the account. It ends approved, deferred (keep trading Sim Funded and ask again later) or in the Trader Development Program. If approved, up to $10,000 per account minus payouts becomes your live starting balance — $30,000 maximum per trader — on Tradovate or Rithmic; for example, $10,500 of profit with $6,000 withdrawn starts the live account at $4,000. The invitation is valid for five calendar days, the caps come off, and the split stays 90/10 unless the Risk Team changes it.

Rating: 7.8/10 and the closest rival

The Enigma Score gives the Launch 50K 7.8/10 (Strong): Value 85, Risk Cushion 71, Payout Reach 77, Pass Ease 78, and Trader Sentiment 89 (4.7/5 on Trustpilot from 899 reviews). What lifts it: $49 a month with our code, no daily loss limit anywhere, End-of-Day drawdown, daily payouts at 90%, and the launch fee only if you pass. What holds it back: the launch fee itself, 50% consistency in the evaluation and 34% in the Buffer Zone, a $3,000 Buffer Zone before Sim Funded, and 7-day caps.

Its closest rival is Lucid Flex 50K (8.4/10): the same End-of-Day drawdown and 50% consistency in the evaluation, but straight to funded with no fee after passing, payouts every five profitable days (50% of profit, up to $2,000) and an optional daily loss limit. Both are on the comparison hub.

    Who BluSky Launch is for

Buy Launch if you want the lowest monthly cost into a BluSky evaluation, no daily loss limit and End-of-Day drawdown, and you are fine paying a launch fee after passing and building a $3,000 buffer first. If you would rather pay nothing after you pass, BluSky Propel has no launch fee at any point. The cheapest way in is the 50K at $49 a month with our code FE.

    FAQ

What is the BluSky code for Launch?

Our BluSky code FE takes $10 off every month on Launch ($49 / $59 / $69 a month on the 50K / 100K / 200K), and the discount renews with the subscription. Use it at checkout through our link.

When do I pay the launch fee?

Only when you pass the evaluation: $99 (50K), $149 (100K) or $179 (200K), within 14 days — miss it and the passed evaluation is lost.

Is there a daily loss limit on BluSky Launch?

No — not in the evaluation, the Buffer Zone or Sim Funded.

    What is the consistency rule?

50% in the evaluation and 34% in the Buffer Zone, measured against the sum of your profitable days (losing days are left out). There is none once you are Sim Funded, and being out of consistency never fails an account.

How often can I get paid?

Daily, Monday to Friday, once Sim Funded, on any balance above your starting balance: $250 minimum, up to $2,500 per 7 days on the 50K, 90/10 split.
